Chapter One - Rough Draft Adanna sat in the chair farthest from Ms. Tomeaux’s desk twirling her wavy chestnut locks. It was a firm mahogany chair, with a nice floral pattern on the cushions. It was this kind of thing that always got her mind thinking about it. She knew it couldn’t be about the incident from this afternoon. It just couldn’t be. But why else would she be sitting in the Dean of Students’ office if it were for anything else? She tried to shake the thought out of her mind. It was just a dream.
